Best Match-3 Games: Candies, Prisms and Cascades

Match-3 is the most crowded genre in casual gaming, and the easiest to do badly — swap, match, repeat, forever. The nine games in our match-3 category earned their place by adding one idea of their own: a rotatable 3D cube, a mystery story, eggs that hatch, a house that gets renovated one merge at a time.

If you only play one, start at the top: our highest-rated match-3 game is also the most original. Everything below is free, instant, and mostly portrait — which is to say, perfectly shaped for a phone and a spare five minutes.
